Poor Greg. He's a nice guy, plays well, has a great NBA IQ and yet, he just can;t stay in the game. This award may be NAMED The Greg Oden Award if this keeps up much longer.

If it was just the knee, we'd chalk it up to that one bad day and CP3 would remain in the league of the best in the game. But...it wasn't just a knee, in fact it was many, many different injuries that popped up this year and they were all over his body. Could it be? Nah. Really? 2011-2012 draft...CP3....NOT a 1st Round Pick??

Holy Crap! Look everyone, its...its..AMARE!! No, no, not the frustrated, worried, unsure Amare, the REAL Amare. You see, it was all in his head, because after the deadline passed, and he could relax, its been back to total...dominance. And yes, it was Amare who nabbed our Letdown Player of the Year award last year.
1st Runner Up
Wow, Manu...have ya seen him play this year? Have ya heard him talk? He may be out White...um..chocolating..the original JWill!!
Whats amazing ISN'T the fact that George is still playing...no, whats amazing is that he's really just 32 years old!! We demand a recount!!

1st Runner Up
A few years ago, Brand was one of the top forwards in the league and a 1st round talent. Fast forward through a major injury and a trade to the 76ers and Brand had become old and mediocre at best.....until this season. Sure he is not a 20/10 lock anymore but he is a near double-double every night. Who knows maybe he can even match those numbers again next year......his age may be the only thing working against him....that looks to be the main reason why Brand is now a free agent.

1st Runner Up
This award goes to the Biggest Trade of the Year. It could be a 7 for 7 deal with role players or it could be a 3 for 3 deal with STUDS throughout......either way unless we miss our guess, Denver will be in the running for this award darn near every year.

Three years in a row for Denver nabbing this award! This time a few of the names involved were: Beasley, Al Jeff, Monta, Stuckey, Thad, Kirk and Josh Howard. Sheesh. Denver may not win most active trader, but the biggest deals ALWAYS got down at a Mile High.

2nd Runner Up

This was CLOSE. Many of us would have bailed on a team like Jersey, but Wendy stuck with it and will be better next year for sure. But....Dan took a team, that was as bad as NJ and it wasn't even a mess of his doing. Fast forward a year and NY OWNS The East. Fast forward one more year and......who knows...a Title? Could be.
Hard to believe the team that got LeBron lost, but at years end the deal sits at LeBron for Jeff Green, Deron, Danilo and a 2nd Round Pick. Nice work NY.
This award goes to the best team of the regular season, record counts for a lot, but it isn't everything.
1st Runner Up
2nd Runner Up
Like Louie before him..the once mighty and active JT...has fallen into the abyss.....
1st Runner Up
Yeah Steph is good, REAL good, but Tyreke is special. Sure (like Rose before him), outside the game he's a bit....slow (just watch him on SportsCenter) but on the court the guy is Magic.....maybe literally. We give it two years tops before he's a legit threat to average a triple double.

The winner, 1st runner up and 2nd runner up for MVP are not eligible for this award.
Some trades just end up looking lopsided at the end of the year....some trades look lopsided right away. This award goes to the team that made out like a bandit..wether right away or by the end of the year.
This award goes to the Owner who was...the best. What do you need to be "The Best"? Good team, good trades, good pickups, good finish, etc.....
We'll keep this short. We are sorry for EVER thinking Deron was superior to THE blueprint NBA PG...CP3. Yep, Rose is faster. yep, Westbrook is a better shot. Yep, Rondo is...crazier. But none of them are as smart with the ball as Chris Paul.

From good to the BEST in the league when it comes to power forwards, Kevin Love has proven to be one of the best players in the land. He is also another reason NY lost the title as he went down at the worst time of the year. Again...if NYs entire team played and was healthy....they may not have lost a game all year.
The winner, 1st runner up and 2nd runner up for MVP are not eligible for this award.

We're sorry, but they all can't be good awards. This one goes to the team most likely to be irrelevant in the coming season.
23/14. Year in and year out Howard remains the best Center in the league. Bar None. Easy. Whats not so easy? How NY can own the top 2 guys in all of fantasy and several more peppered throughout the top 25 yet not CRUSH all comers en route to the title. Well actually, that one is easy too......NY loaded up with guys SURE to be rested at the end.
This award goes to the team ready to make the leap from Regular to Post-Season, or possibly Post-Season to Title-Contender.
The winner, 1st runner up and 2nd runner up for MVP are not eligible for this award.
Well, Dan sure does like to battle. On the court, in trades, on the message board...anywhere is fair game for a war to start!

Wow, Co-Winners..AGAIN!!! New York did indeed make some HUGE trades this year but Des Moines OWNED ol Dan when it came to sheer amount of trades done. Sorry Dan, make a few more deals, then you may be able to lay sole claim to this award.
This one goes to the team whos....most active in trading. Making the most trades helps, but so does making the most offers, counters and having the good sense to not get killed in every deal.
Without Blake, The Waves are a damn good team, and one that could easily make the playoffs AND contend. WITH Blake, The Waves are world champs. Yep Love was M.I.A. for NY, but even with him, Blake was making SURE The Waves won.

Its that time of year again, time to the USBA Awards! We've rolled out the red carpet and YES we are on time this year giving out the awards more than just a week before the 2010-2011 season begins! So read on and enjoy! Remember these awards aren't for the NBA and they aren't for "Fantasy Leagues", these are for The USBA!! Don't worry though, we aren't just naming names, we'll also give our reasons for our top picks in each category. "What do you mean top picks?" Well, several categories will have just one winner but we'll have a few awards where we'll name a runner up or two as well just to give an idea of who else was in the discussion. So, by all means, read on, and let us know what you think!
Had to pick em. No one thought they could go this far, yet the ageless ones have proven EVERYONE wrong. Now, can they beat the odds again next year? No way! Right?
This award goes to the team ready to make the leap from Regular to Post-Season, or possibly Post-Season to Title-Contender.
How can New York lay claim to this Award TWICE in a row?? Simple, last year we thought NY would leap into The Playoffs in 09/10 and they did. Next year? Its Title Game or BUST!!
1st Runner Up
Thought he was done didn't you? DIDN'TYOU!! Well have no fear, not only was CP3 back to (most) of his old ways this season, he will be even better going forward.

Oh good LORD....that was one of the worst things I have seen happen to an NBA guy. Like, almost Livingston bad. What? You haven't seen it? Well its HERE if ya wanna see.....but man..its tough to watch. What?? You never saw the "Livingston Injury"?? Well, go ahead and watch that HERE if you must. Did this keep ATL from taking a Title? We'll never know, but it CAN'T have helped. But, just so ya know, Mr. Livingston is doing JUUUST fine and had (in my opinion) one of THE best dunks of the year on Gasol. Especially when you consider that previous knee injury. That dunk....check it out HERE!!!
