Six weeks in and the Big Three remain....unbeaten. Meanwhile, one of the former top teams, made a big statement last week. First off we have Baltiwash, our...ahem...#1 pick this preseason. Last week The Ravskins took on The Criminals. Both teams would have their stars perform well and The Criminals D in particular was impressive with four players over 20 pts. The Ravskins didn't really have any crazy performances (Brees, Jackson and Mendenhall did put up 150 pts combined) but in the end they would take advantage of poor numbers from Chicago's Olsen, Driver and Housh for the 408-380 win. *** Then we had Phoenix...also a top 3 pick...taking on Carolina. This was a close game as well and both teams were very very impressive with a grand total of just five players scoring in single didgits. Still, Rivers hurt Carlonia bad with just 37 and when Carolina's defense got straight up CRUSHED by Phoenix, it was all over. The final 419-389 in favor of The Pinyatas and we have two unbeatens. *** Finally we have OBX. Well, we didn't think to highly of them in the preseason but we didn't factor in one thing...The Favre Factor! Oh don't get us wrong, we know Favre SUCKS!! But, he HAS to be bringing some kind of magic here when he goes and puts up a terrible 23 points and OBX still goes on for the win. Guess its cursing the other team because Those Favre factors were FAR from impressive week six. But The 4&9ers...were worse, sooooo much worse. Six players with less than 10 points and just one player over 30. OBX will not be going unbeaten this year but..for now the favre magic has gotten them yet another win 349-312 over SanFran. *** And then there were....The Pugs. Dead..DEAD we procalimed them in the preseason ranks. Last update we only added to that fire eluding to the possibility of The Pugs missing The Playoffs for the first time EVER. Then week six happened, and Megatron was in the wrong place, at the WRONG time. 30+ from McNabb, Torain , Addai, Andre Johnson, Sanatana, and Grimes and only two player under 10 pts. Also, 20+ from Ngata, Gonzo and half their defense. yeah, it was a bad week for BC. Georgia demolished BC 424-297...BUT, if Collins thinks that he is off the hook, he better think again because it will take at least one more big performance to convince us that The Pugs...aren't done. *** The Rankings!!! [1] 1- Baltiwash Ravskins- (Another big win for Baltiwash) [2] 2- Phoenix Pinyatas- (6-0 and the second highest scoring team in the league) [3] 3- OBX Favre Factors- (Might seem like magic...but OBX too is undefeated) [4] 4- New Jersey Crew- (Still hanging right with Baltiwash) [6] 5- Denver Electricity- (Do NOT count out...The Champs) [7] 6- Seattle Reign- (Back to a winning streak) [5] 7- West Virginia Wolverines (.500.....should be better) [9] 8- Cincinnati Bengals (Now 2 games behind The Rock) [11] 9- Georgia Snorting Pugs (But..but...they've won TWO straight! They've got the THIRD highest scoring offense!! ....Oh yeah.....let em get OVER .500, then we can talk about ranks!) *******Man does the rest of the league SUCK!!!******* [8] 10- Charlotte Tiny Kitties (2-4 and they have lost two in a row) [8] 11- Chicago Soprano Wannabes (If there is ONE team I expected more from..its this one) [12] 12- BC Starscreams (1-5....Megatron truely is...DEAD) [13] 13- Carolia Rolly Pollies (Fire Ants bite...this team does not) [14] 14- San Francisco 1-12ers (Yeah that'll be the record soon) [15] 15- Atlantic City Folders (No gambling here...this team folded two weeks ago!) [16] 16- Fort Worth Street (We'll just stick with "Street" cause like a road..this team just LAYS THERE!!)
Well, well, well. We may only be two weeks into the season, but so far, so good for the Pre-Season Ranks. We said the Ravskins would be THE team to beat this season and after two games, Baltiwash is 2-0 with well over 800 points scored (by far the most in the league). Both of Baltiwash's opponents this year have put up big scores but neither has come anywhere near taking down the early season favorites. *** Another top three team in the ranks was The Phoenix Pinyatas and lo and behold, they too are unbeaten after two games. In addition, The Pinyatas are also in the top three when it comes to points scored. Hmm....could the ranks hold up this year? *** We also ranked the Big Cats, Fire Ants, Decepticons, Street Sharks and 49ers as the bottom five teams and they have combined for just a single win between them. Why do we bring this all up now? Simple...by the end of the month the ranks will probably be all shot to hell. *** As for The 2009 Champion, The Rock has also managed to start off 2-0 despite missing two of their best players in Roethlisberger and Santonio. Denver hasn;t put up points like The Pinyatas or Ravskins, but if The Electricity can hang on just another couple weeks, the return of those big names could make them even more dangerous. *** And speaking of The Champ, what better game for our first Game of the Week then this week's contest between Denver and Cincinnati? The Bengals were ranked 11th in the ranks yet they have shrugged off that rank and started the year 2-0. Now it's time to see if The Bengals are for real as they take on the World Champion Electricity. Who will win this matchup you ask? Lets break it down and find out. *** QB- Both teams seem to be in flux in this department. Denver is still missing Big Ben and will have Cassel under center while The Bengals can't risk starting Vince Young OR Kerry Collins these days and will go with Sanchez. In the end though, we like the Jets WRs a bit more. Winner- Bengals RBs- Another category here that is tough to judge. The Bengals have a stud in Gore and Ray Rice for Denver is sure to be solid. But the second RBs are Marion Barber for Cincinnati and McFadden for Denver. Yikes. Winner- Tie! WRs- Clayton, Ward and Braylon have played well for The bengals but with Braylon in the doghouse things may get rough. Meanwhile Denver has Braylons teammate Cotchery and he could see a small boost. DeSean and Vick also seem to be clicking which bumps Denver up even higher. At TE, both teams are solid but Denver again has the edge. Winner- Electricity Defense- Denver still possesses one of the best defenses in the league. The bengals are no slouch but Denvers DBs and LBs have the overall edge for sure. Winner- Denver Both teams sit at 2-0 and this week we'll find out if Cincy is for real, or not quite there yet. Our Pick- The Denver Electricity. Final- 388-370 Don't worry, your favorite part is still here..... The Rankings!!! 1- Baltiwash Ravskins- Dominating 2- Phoenix Pinyatas- A strong showing so far 3- Denver Electricity- No Big Ben or Santonio hasn't hurt them...yet 4- Seattle Reign- RIGHT behind Phoenix 5- New Jersey Crew- Sopranos truck may have been impounded.....but his team is unbeaten. 6- OBX Favre Rules- Favre looks shaky....OBX does not 7- Georgia Snorting Pugs- Is Georgia ok? 8- Cincinnati Bengals- Win this week and make the top 5 9- Charlotte Big Cats- 1-1 but over 700 points scored 10- West Virginia Wolverines- No way they stay winless for long 11- Atlantic City Gamblers- 0-2 but FAR from that bad 12- BC Decepticons- Could be a tough year? 13- Carolina Fire Ants- Not a great start 14- San Francisco 4&9ers- They may PRAY for 4 wins by seasons end 15- Fort Worth Street Sharks- Will anybody else in the Central challenge Denver besides The Bengals? 16- Chicago Criminals- Has Dan given up already?!?!?
This week its time to rename a few teams!!
Well THAT was ugly. Our first Game of the Week featured last years Champions versus a possible up and comer this year. It was The Denver Electricity VS The Cincinnati Bengals. Both teams played very well and it took all that the champs had to put The Bengals away. the final score was a Denver win 359-338. ***** So, what was ugly you ask? THIS weeks game for Denver. On paper, this weeks game between Denver and Baltiwash had all the makings of another GotW, but in the end, it was just a throttling. Denver was still without their starting QB Big Ben and even their backup was out with a bye week. Add in a suspended WR a couple injuries and a badly timed bye week or two....and The Rock wasn't looking all that great on game day. The final piece of the disaster was their opponent....this years Pre-Season pick as the 2010 Champion, The Ravskins. ***** Randy Moss did nothing. That was about the only blemish for The Ravskins. Brees, Jackson (yeah the one with the bad groin), Mendenhall and Gates would all top 40 while three players on D would hit 30+! The end result was a 422-272 beat-down with The Ravskins coming out WAY on top. Only time will tell if The Champion Electricity can come back strong. ***** What? You want news besides what the current and future champs are up too? Well, the unbeatens stayed that way and all but one of the winless also...stayed that way. So read the ranks...get better...and MAKE SOME TRADES!! Not one regular season trade yet. Not saying it HAS to happen but come on....gotta be something that AC or Ft Worth can do to get better! The Rankings!!! [1] 1- Baltiwash Ravskins (Took down The Rock...and made it look way to easy) [2] 2- Phoenix Pinyatas (Staying undefeated) [6] 3- OBX Favre has Moss!! (Proving they are for real) [5] 4- New Jersey Crew (Better than we thought theyd be) [10] 5- West Virginia Wolverines (Scoring in boatloads) [3] 6- Denver Electricity (That loss HURT) [4] 7- Seattle Reign (Hitting a bit of a rough spot) [16] 8- Chicago Criminals (From 0-2 to 2-2...not bad) [8] 9- Cincinnati Bengals (From 2-0 to 2-2...not good) [9] 10- Charlotte Big Cats (Treading water) [7] 11- Georgia Snorting Pugs (Could they really miss The Playoffs?!) [12] 12- BC Decepticons (Starting a streak?) [13] 13- Carolina Fire Ants (Gotta get better fast) [14] 14- San Francisco 49ers (Doomed) [11] 15- Atlantic City Gamblers (Maybe they ARE this bad?) [15] 16- Fort Worth Street Guppies (Beat up...bad)

The Peoples Champion isn't looking so good after last week.
***11-5-10***
Its official....The king is dead.....every year there has been one constant in Chapel Hill. The Pugs...in The Playoffs. Well, like many dynasties before them, The Pugs are officially dead. And its not a quiet death either, its a loud screeching din of a death. Injuries, age and bad luck have conspired to destroy this once great franchise and while a lot can be blamed on that bad luck...we have one question...where is the owner and what is he doing to save this team?!?! Not a single trade this year....just sad. We get that the former Commish is in a time crunch these days, but that's not an excuse...he should have twenty offers a week to every team in the land! Yet it seems he is content to just fade away into obscurity...sad. *** So, who will take Georgia's place as the new league best? Well we could go with record and make it easy, but we mean league best..DYNASTY? Who has been good/great and who can REMAIN great for the foreseeable future? We have a few ideas. *** First off we have Batiwash. The Ravskins haven;t exactly been the most consistent team over the years going 3-11, 8-5, 3-1 and 8-5 again in their history. But over the last two years they have been rising indeed. They finished last year 8-5 and made the playoffs and this year they sit at an unbeaten 8-0 and were the top pick in the preseason. The rest of The East need not apply. NJ seems to be going in the wrong direction. West Virginia would have been a candidate but since their ownership change, its been downhill. As for Atlantic City....no way. *** No one in The South comes even close. Carolina is always good, but never great. Charlotte has one good year and many of ineptitude. OBX made the Title Game once, and is good this year but very up and down. And the Pugs are DEAD DEAD DEAD!! *** In the West though we do have a promising name in Phoenix. The Pinyatas have some solid credentials to be "anointed". They have won a title. They have made The Playoffs two out of four years and they have only had a losing record once. Add to that their 8-0 start this year and their consistent top 5 rank and we may have the next...Big...Thing. Other teams in The West? Uh. No. Decepticons have been poor ever since year two. San Fran sucks. And Seattle...well....wait a second here. Seattle. The Reign. Hmmm. Last time we checked, they have only been to The Playoffs once...but that one time resulted in us hanging a banner with their name on it. They have NEVER had a losing season and this year they sit at 6-2 just two games back of Phoenix. Well, we'll take Baltimore out because they have no Title yet. Phoenix....Seattle? *** If we demand that the team wins a Title to be considered in our "new dynasty" club then The Criminals are out. They have an impressive history with two consecutive playoff apperances and they have never had a losing record. This years 2-6 record though....kills em fast. The Bengals are out cause...yeah..they stink. And The Street Sharks are..0-8. So Georgia is dead leaving Seattle, Phoenix and....The Rock. 10-4, 2-11, 7-6 and 10-3 is their record history. Denver did have that one horrible year in 2007, but that was when they lost both Vick (Jail) and Sean Taylor (death) and it was tough to recover. They have made The Playoffs twice and they are the current league Champion. Denver also has a 7-1 record this year and is almost a lock for The Playoffs yet again. This team has also managed that record despite starting the first four weeks without Big Ben OR Santonio. *** Phoenix? Seattle? Denver? So, who is our most likely winner of the Newest Dynasty label? We don't know..so..you tell us! we'll post a poll on the league homepage....we'd love to make it Denver, Seattle, Phoenix or Other..but ya'll will just vote "other" and we need a winner here! So take a look, make a vote and we'll see what The People think!! ***** The Rankings!!! [1] 1- Baltiwash Ravskins (Unstoppable) [2] 2- Phoenix (Ditto) [3] 3- OBX Favre got CUT!!....on his chin (Just CRUSHING The South) [5] 4- Denver Electricity (Just CRUSHING The Central) [4] 5- New Jersey Crew (Two behind The untouchable Ravskins) [6] 6- Seattle Reign (....dynasty?) [7] 7- West Virginia Wolverines (Might be too far behind to catch up) [8] 8- Cincinnati Bengals (Three games behind The Rock) [10] 9- Charlotte Big Cats (Many games back) [12] 10- BC Decepticons (Dead as always) [9] 11- Georgia Snorting Pugs (......) [11] 12- Chicago Criminals (Obvious that he just don't care) [13] 13- Carolina Fire Ants (They could win like seven in a row right? right??) [15] 14- Atlantic City Gamblers (yawn) [14] 15- San Francisco 4&9ers (Lets see if they can rly go 4-9) [16] 16- Fort Worth Street Sharks (...Still making moves at 0-8.....impressive)

The Old Dynasty is dead....
...so who is the NEW Chapel Hill Dynasty??
***11-16-10***
Ok, OK Cole, we get it, you want an Update! So here it is a REAL Playoff Update!! The REAL PLAYOFF Rankings!!! #1 Seed [9-1 Phoenix Pinyatas]- Well, Phoenix has a LOT to prove now! They have been named the league newest dynasty and it wasn't even close. luckily, if anyone can take over its Phoenix. They currently sit at 9-1, they have won a Title in the past and counting this year will have made The Playoffs all but one season. As for this year, Phoenix plays the Central Division Gambit the rest of the way. Chicago this week and Cinncinati the following week. The last week of the year could also have the Game of the Year too as it will be Phoenix taking on Denver as the current and former World Champions go head to head. Final Record- Phoenix just can't be stopped and they will win out going 12-1 ********** #2 Seed- [9-1 Denver Electricity]- For Denver its all about PROOF. Phoenix has been named THE Dynasty. How can Denver rip that claim away? Only one way, win the Title...again. Do that and there is no denying just who is the current Chapel Hill Dynasty. The rest of the way Denver does the opposite of Phoenix, they go out West, and stay there. Two games against BC and SanFran should have Denver at 11-1 going into the game against Phoenix but that game may not go quite according to plan. Final Record- If Denver stays focused on BC and the 49ers they will go 2-1 to finish the year and end up at a very respectable 11-2 ********** #3 Seed [8-2 Baltiwash Ravskins]- Just keep winning. That's all Baltiwash has to do to claim the Eastern Division Title. Their last few games are all winnable, but not all will be easy. This week they will take on Carolina and that should be a win but after that its a tough one against OBX before the final game of the year where Georgia could play spoiler. Final Record- Still, OBX is a winnable game and we think Baltiwash will win out and go 11-2. If they can manage that they could also nab that #2 Playoff Seed. *********** #4 Seed [8-2 OBX Favre Factors]- Favre is done but OBX is NOT. This division is basically all wrapped up, OBX just needs to coast to the finish. But, with a 3 game winning streak maybe they could take the 3rd Playoff Seed? Maybe? Too bad their final three games are NOT going to be easy with games against New Jersey AND Baltiwash. Final Record- Gonna be a rough finish here as OBX will end up 9-4 *********** **** *********** #1 Wild Card [8-2 New Jersey Crew]- Oh! So THIS is why Cole had his little Update! He thinks he can pass Baltiwash! Well as much as we HATE to say, he will need help to take out The Ravskins. Hopefully for Cole Baltiwash drops a game because The Crew will be winning the rest of theirs taking out Carolina, OBX and lowly (yeah that's right LOWLY Georgia). Final Record- 11-2 but maybe juuust shy of taking down Baltiwash. ********** #2 Wild Card [8-2 Seattle Reign]- Seattle, Phoenix and Denver...We are missing The Pugs but all the other previous Champs WILL go to The Playoffs! For Seattle, their only hope is for Phoenix to drop TWO games the rest of the way while winning out themselves. Not gonna happen. The Reign could go 3-0 but 2-1 could happen as well. They will surely win against Ft. Worth and Chicago, but Could the Bengals jump up and bite em? Final Record- We say yes! 10-3 will be the final record here ************ 3 games Back [5-5 West Virginia Wolverines]- Could The Wolverines make The Playoffs? Sure, but they need more help than we can even imagine. If they win all three remaining games, and Seattle loses all three of theirs, it could happen. Final Record- 7-6 is the final record here. Sorry WV. ****************** So, three weeks left and, The Playoffs are SET!! Guess we can start working on predictions NOW! Playoff Games Round One: Phoenix Pinyatas- Bye Baltiwash Ravskins- Bye #3 Seed Denver Electricity VS #2 Wild Card Seattle Reign #4 Seed OBX Favre Factors VS #1 Wild Card New Jersey Crew We might not be perfect but, we GOTTA be close! Oh, The Big Cats and Bengals think they still have a shot? Yeah...RIGHT! Ugh, you want MORE Prediction don't you..DONT YOU?!?!? Ok, FINE!! Playoffs Round Two: #1 Seed Phoenix Pinyatas VS New jersey Crew #2 Seed Baltiwash Ravskins VS Denver Electricity Chapel Hill Super Bowl: Phoenix Pinyatas VS Baltiwash Ravskins 2010 Chapel Hill World Champion: THE Baltiwash Ravskins Picked em week 1, pickin em now.
We're here with a breakdown of just who ...will finish...WHERE
***12-8-10***
Well, it wasn't perfect but it was close. A few weeks back we had our picks for just who would finish where and who would play who in the 2010 CH Playoffs. Our picks for Seeds #1 and #2 were spot on as Phoenix and Baltiwash have both earned bye weeks. Now its time to break down the Round 1 Playoff match ups for the teams that WILL be playing! ***** #3 Seed [10-3] Denver Electricity VS #2 Wild Card [10-3] New Jersey Crew This isn't exactly the way The Champ wanted to be playing heading into the playoffs. Denver looked very strong all year but has faltered of late finishing just 1-2 over their last three games. New jersey on the other hand finished with two wins in a row and Cole would like NOTHING more than to be the one to de-throne The Rock! The Breakdown QB- Both teams feature top QBs in Roethlisberger and Scahub. The trouble for Denver though is the fact that Big Ben has been beaten up quite a bit the last few games. Still, it is close when it comes to QBs for these teams Winner- Crew RBs- For The Crew its all about Foster. Arian has led their running attack all year and he remains a top 10 player in all of fantasy on any given week. After Foster it gets a bit rocky but Blount has proven that he can be counted on to turn in a good performance almost every week. For Denver its FAR from as stable. Ray Rice hasn't been the stud he was last year and McFadden is a feast or famine type of back. Again, Denver looks to be trailing. Winner- Crew WRs- The Crew is led by a rookie who doesn't play like one, an old guy who can score in bunches at times and a guy lost somewhere in the middle. Mike Williams should put up good numbers but Ochocinco and Gaffney.....who knows. For Denver its a little more balanced. DeSean is normally good for at least 18+ and Santonio is also a solid option. As for Tate...well, Denver can hope can't they? On the TE side of things we have a winner and a loser. Tamme and Blair White for NJ and Vernon Davis and Witten for Denver, you do the math. Winner- Denver Defense- New Jersey is one of the few teams in the league with a very solid list of DLs. They are also loaded at LB with Posluszny, Dansby and Lofton. Add in a nice list of DBs and Denvers big advantage last year (a better D then most) may have evaporated. Denver is still strong on D but their DLs are very very weak. Winner- Crew Summary- Its looking mighty bleak for The Rock. New Jersey is rolling and is already the favorite with the point gap growing by the day. Still, this is the World Champion we are talking about here and there is no way Denver goes down quietly. Our Pick- The New Jersey Crew 380-367 ******** #4 Seed [9-4] OBX Favre Factors VS #1 Wild Card [11-2] Seattle Reign DON'T kid yourself, Seattle is NOT a Wild Card. Yes, thanks to sharing a division with Phoenix thats what the schedule says but this may very well be the second best team in the league! As for OBX, DON'T kid yourself, they ARE a better team then their record suggests. And they....unlike anyone else...have an extra player. QB- Both Cutler and Vick have been passing well but when it comes to sheer volume, Jay Cutler has the ability to throw for 350+ yards on any given night. Michael Vick? He can throw for 300, but its not a given by any means. Luckily Vick has been throwin plenty of TDs to help swing things in his favor some. Winner- Tie RBs- That extra player we mention? Yeah, its and extra RB because at any time, Mike Vick can take off and TORCH you for 100+ yards on the ground. Add in Adrian and Jamaal Charles versus Starks and Benson....(or maybe Lynch) for Seattle and its over FAST. Winner- OBX WRs- So how is Seattle able to stay in the race? Wide Receivers. With Brandon Marshall back, The Reign boasts a pretty nice list with Fitz, Lee Evans and Bowe rounding out their top WRs. As for OBX, they are led by....uh...by....Jermichal Finley...yikes. Ok, ok, they have Royal, and Amendola too but, this just isn't even a fight. Winner- Reign Defense- Neither team has been anything special on defense this year but we like the LBs on one side quite a bit more than the other. The DBs and DLs....equally mediocre. Winner- OBX Summary- Both of these teams have some very lopsided advantages over the other, so who wins it in the end? Simple...the team with the NFL MVP. (And dont think that doesnt irk The Champs quite a bit...before the dog fighting and jail....Vick...was Denvers!) Our Pick- OBX Favre Factors 377-369
The 2010 Chapel Hill Playoffs are here! Read one for our picks for each first round game
***12-15-10***
The World Heavyweight Champion....remains. We thought it was looking pretty bad for The Rock going into Round One of the 2010 Playoffs. The Champ was down and Soprano looked poised to nab the win, make an example of The Brahma Bull, and move on. Seems no one told The Rock that little tid bit because the only one making examples was The Electricity. Denvers RBs combined for over 100 and while their WRs were a little on the low side of the scoring, the TEs for Denver would total 67. On the NJ side only Schaub and Arian would score well with over 100 total points. Both teams defenses played very well but Denver again had the lead there. In the end, The current Chapel Hill Champion proved that an early exit was not going to happen winning 483-399 over The New Jersey Crew. *** We missed on out first prediction but we nailed the other. OBX and Seattle had a good game but it was some glaringly poor performances that did in The Reign. 40+ from Garrard was nice and Lynch going for 36 was another nice surprise, but Starks and all over Seattles WRs combined for just 30! Well, mostly. That is not counting 25 from Fitz. Still that means five players on offense were just terrible and while OBX didn't really fair much better, they still topped those numbers. The worst part for Seattle? Benson, Pierre Thomas and Butler totaled almost 80 points...on the bench...more than enough to topple OBX. In the end though it would be Favre moving on 301-278. ***** #3 Seed [10-3] Denver Electricity VS #2 Seed [11-2] Baltiwash Ravskins Now its time for the #1 Pre-Season pick to get their shot at The Champ.....again. These two teams did lock up way back in week four and back then it would be Denvers first loss, and it wouldn't be pretty as The 'Skins would crush The Electricity 422-273! Can Baltiwash do it again and keep The Rock out of the Title Game? The Breakdown QB- Easy pick to start. The Ravskins will bring mighty Drew Brees into this game while Denver will start Ben Roethlisberger. He too is mighty, but in form, not performance. With Ben so banged up we may even see Cassell start for Denver. Winner- Ravskins RBs- This side is a little closer. Ray Rice and McFadden for Denver and Jackson and Mendenhall for Baltiwash. Both Rice and Mendenhall are supposed to be studs but neither has had an incredible year. As for Jackson and McFadden, they are both a little bit feast or famine. Baltiwash is up agaisnt some tough Ds though and that may swing the RB battle. Winner- Electricity WRs- With Holmes and DeSean Denver features some high octane WRs. With Calvin, Miles and Lloyd, Baltiwash features WRs with great possession and YAC ability. If the argument ended there itd be Baltiwash with the win but TEs factor in here too. Denver comes in with Witten and Vernon Davis while Baltiwash has....well we're not sure yet. Winner- Tie Defense- Denver has built their team around a great defense....and so has Baltiwash. The Ravskins have some DLs to be feared and their DBs are also big players. For Denver its their LBs that have made their D as tough as it is while their DBs are close to Baltiwash but maybe not quite as strong. Could this be the game that kills Denver for missing D'Qwell on D? Winner- Ravskins Summary- For the second game in a row Denver looks like the underdog. They've lost to Baltiwash once this year but will it happen again? This one is looking very very close but we do have to pick a winner. Yeah, we say Baltiwash wins it, but Denver is not going quietly. Our Pick- The Baltiwash Ravskins- 429-421 ******** #1 Seed [12-1] Phoenix Pinyatas VS #4 Seed [9-4] OBX Favre Factors In 2008 and 2009 it was The Phoenix Pinyatas that were named as the #1 team in our Pre-Season Rankings. Thanks to the curse, Phoenix was unable to claim a Title either year. In 2007 though they were not named the best, but they DID turn out to be World Champions. This year? Their Rank? #3. Looks like it may be time or Phoenix to reclaim their throne. QB- So last week we claimed that OBX got an extra RB in Mike Vick. That won't end this week but we'll count that RB in the QB battle. Vick v Flacco......easy. Winner- OBX RBs- So Peterson is hurt huh? Well that hurts OBX. Meanwhile Turner and McCoy are hitting their strides for Phoenix. Charles is good, but him and a dinged up Adrian can't hang in this battle. Winner- Phoenix WRs- Just like last week, OBX is still led by a rag-tag bunch of WRs that are barely on the map. Last week that didn;t hurt so much, this week...it will be what kills OBX. Winner- Phoenix Defense- And Finally, we see a mediocre defense coming up against one of the best in the league. Winner- Phoenix Summary- If Vick scores 100 (no, really..he could and we mean this).....OBX might win. If not, this one is over and over fast. Phoenix will make the Title Game and should claim their second Championship once they get there. Our Pick- Phoenix Pinyatas- 393-342

"Viva Pinyata" Need we say more?
***9-21-11***
It wasn't pretty, but we said The Pinyatas would get here, and they did. Last weeks game was darn close and thanks to one great performance, OBX almost made the Title Game. The defense was marginal, the WRs didn't show up and while both backs topped 30, OBXs running game was far from a masterpiece. No, who kept them in the game? Micheal Vick. He ran, he threw, he did it all and with 77 points he was by far the top player for either team. For Phoenix it was a very similar game. No RBs, and the WRs sucked BAD, but their QB would only muster 31. So how did the Pinyatas make the final game? DEFENSE. All but one defensive player hit double figures and five managed better than 20. When five of OBXs defenders totaled less than Timmons scored for the Pinyatas, it tipped the scales just enough. 347-337 is your final. ****** And speaking of finals...ther was one other game last week...one other game where... FINALLY!!! The Rock HAS COME BACK!! ....and indeed The Rock has fallen. Indeed The Peoples Champion has been defeated. Indeed....The Brahama Bull got his Ass Whooped!! It wasn't the first time and it DAMN sure won't be the last. The Rock congratulates Baltiwash on their victory despite the fact that The Rock hates Sean Edward almost as much as Tim Collins hated winning this year!! So now, you move on Baltiwash. But if you think you are rid of The Rock, THINK AGAIN!! You did indeed win the game but The Rock isn't going anywhere, he is and forever WILL BE The Peoples Champion and come next year he will reclaim his crown whether it be from you or that CandyAss Pinyata! And for those who can't believe The Rock lost....just remember...and Sean...ALWAYS remember......it took your best....game.....EVER....to beat The Great One. 459 points....most ever scored by your Candyass. So you keep rolling, you WIN the title and you bring your game BACK to face The Rock next year, because if you fail to reach that brass ring.....The Rock will never...and The Rock means EVER let you forget it!! IF YA SMELLLLLL..What The Rock IS COOKIN!!! ******* #3 Seed [10-3] Denver Electricity VS #2 Seed [11-2] Baltiwash Ravskins To the average Joe this may look like Ravskins VS Pinyatas but...we know better don't we. Since way back before the year 2000, fantasy sites have been run by yours truly. Its always been fun and I get a lot right but there is one thing I have never...ever...done. In all the season and all the PreSeason Rankings (well over 50), I have never called a winner. Well, the year I named Baltiwash as the league Champion and now, that team stands just one win away. So, the question is, can they do it? The Breakdown QB- Flacco will get the nod for Phoenix while its Brees for Baltiwash. Who would you rather have? yeah, we agree. Winner- Ravskins RBs- Jackson and Mendenhall v McCoy and Michael Turner. Rashard has been a disappointment this year but has been better of late. Turner too has been a bit of a let down but remains a strong play every week. This one, is close. Winner- Tie WRs- Wayne headlines for Phoenix while Calvin is the best Baltiwash has to offer. So thats a tie. After that it gets a bit muddy. Steve Smith, Mason, Scheffler and Shipley round out Phoenix's WRs while Lloyd, Miles, McMichael and Harvin will do the catching for Blatiwash. Um. Lets see. We'll take that second list, by just a bit. Winner- Ravskins Defense- Hate to do it again but, both of these D's are loaded. Just can't call a winner. Winner- Tie Summary- Sure looks like The Ravskins have the edge. We named em Champs before anyone and BOY would it feel GOOD to brag about that call for the first...time...ever. Our Pick- The Baltiwash Ravskins- 403-390

The Ravskins may not give this up for a VERY long time
