Ok…hold on ooooonnnneeee sec here. Logging in to server…. Finding the league website….. Finding last weeks update… Annnnnnnd DELETE!! *** Ok, good, everything is fine now. Phoenix can’t score and Baltiwash is mortal. Right? Right?! A week ago, it was all different. A week ago Baltiwash was untouchable and Phoenix was other worldly! Fast forward a bit and neither team is undefeated and both teams have company at the top of their divisions!! But who cares about them! It’s the GOTW you all want to hear about! …right? *** First up we had Cincinnati vs Chicago. Now first things first….I guess we can say just about anything around here and it won’t matter since NO ONE IS READING!!! Last week we said that Cincinnati was 1-1 having defeated Fort Worth…..turns out that was about as accurate as Dans golf swing (…but at least he reads….I think). Either way, one team was for real, the other not so much. Turns out, Chicago may be more dangerous than we thought because not only did they win, they straight CRUSHED. Freeman and McGahee put up 40+ for Cincinnati but no one else topped 20. For Chicago it was LT and Rice notching 40+ while Rivers, Boldin, Keller, Hanson (A KICKER???), and Jackson all managed 20+ as well. Add in a few 20+ guys on D and it was an eeeeeasy win 347-254. *** Our other game at least had some drama as with 2 minutes to go Monday night Denver trailed Fort Worth by just TWO!! It was an odd game though as both teams fielded stars who notched…zip. Deion Branch tallied exactly nuthin for The Sharks while The Rock started Wells….who didn’t play. Other than that it was two different styles here, one team had the offense while the other had great D. So it was Denver with their famous D that led the way right? Nope. Fort Worth just crushed on defense with every LB hitting at least 20 pts and each LB over 15. Meanwhile Denver had another major miscue as DJ Williams was in the lineup but did not play. On offense Fort Worth played well and Eli killed with 55 but the rest of the offense was only average. For Denver, Cam topped 40 as did Roddy and Rob Gronlamalamadingdong. In the end though it wasn’t enough for Denver and Fort Worth got the win 334- 329. *** So, with Phoenix and Baltiwash also losing…where does this leave us? We’ll tell you where….. The Rankings!!! [Last Update] [3] 1- OBX Favre Factors (Sorry Gents….Favre rules the land…for now) [10] 2- West Virginia Wolverines (They….have more pts scored then You) [6] 3- Fort Worth Street Sharks (3-0? From 1-12 to 3-0?!?!?) [4] 4- New Jersey Crew (Beat the unbeatable!!!) [2] 5- Phoenix Pinyatas (Don’t go counting them out) [1] 6- Baltiwash Ravskins (Injuries are mounting…fast) [5] 7- Georgia Snorting Pugs (They won….but drop two spots…we plan to make the Pugs REALLY Earn a top 5 rank….Prove you’re back Collins!!!) [8] 8- Chicago Criminals (Win this week……top 5 next week) [9] 9- Seattle Reign (Playing well despite little at RB) [7] 10- SanFrancisco 4&9ers (Going south….) [14] 11- BC Decepticons (JT used to be so much fun….) [11] 12- Charlotte Big Cats (Losing ground already) [13] 13- Carolina (Made a HUGE move this week…will the review favor them..or doom them???) [12] 14- Denver Electricity- (Since realignment, The Rock has NEVER lost The Central…..Chicago and Fort Worth could end his streak this year…and they could do it by mid season) [15] 15- Cincinnati Bengals (Bad) [16] 16- Atlantic City Gamblers (Maybe its time to gamble on a BIG trade??)
Phoenix's toys and candy are just out all ova the place!
***9-21-11***
One week in and already I can safely say that the Pre-Season Rankings will name the champ TWO years straight! How can I say this so soon? Because The Ravskins are rolling over all comers already ......and they aren't even at full strength. In week one, Baltiwash took on West Virginia. As far as WV goes, they sure didn't give the world champs an easy time of it as they put up the 3rd best score for the week. For Baltiwash it was a rough go as Arian Foster would sit and Steven Jackson tallied only 13 points. Even still, The Ravksins would put up the 2nd highest score of the week and take the game 417-408. Fast forward a week and Foster was back..for a little while but even his poor outing didn't hurt as Baltiwash again put up huge numbers topping every team in the league but one, and that one was not who the champs played and after topping Atlantic City 426-391, Baltiwash remains unbeaten.....and very...very...SCARY. ********* So, is there anyone who CAN take down the best? Yes, yes there is. You see, for two weeks now The Ravksins finished with the 2nd best score of the week. So, what teams have managed to top them? Funny thing is....its only one team. Yep, one team managed the top score both weeks. So who was it? A little hint....they have a title banner hanging on the home page. *** Yep, the 2007 World Champions are at it again. The Phoenix Pinyatas are 2-0 just like Baltiwash however the difference is that Phoenix isn't even letting their opponents breath, let alone think they can win. Week one, a 420-315 CRUSHING of San Fransisco. Week two, another big game and another big gap with a 436-354 win over Seattle. So is Phoenix really better than Baltiwash? luckily we won;t have to wait long to find out. A game of the week you ask, I'll name one for next week, but the bonus is, I can also name a future GOTW now! Game six? Ravskins.....Phoenix....oh hell yeah. ********** So what is a worth GOTW in the meantine? Well Monday Night Fottball always starts the year with two games so we will too. We have 1-1 teams a-plenty so far.....some of these teams are Playoff bound, others are not. Lets find out which ones are which.... *** In our first Game of the Week this week we will feature The Criminals VS The Bengals. Week one saw Chicago put up a miserable score as they lost to The Street Sharks. Fast forward to game two though and Chicago was able to take down a top 3 ranked team when they pasted The Rock himself. As for The Bengals, they took a week one loss to The Brahama Bull but came back this week to take down Fort Worth. Time to find out which team is for real. *** In game two we'll stay with Denver. The Rock has been a champion before and The Denver Electricity looked great coming into the season but things have quickly gone south. Now The Rock will take on ....would you look at that....The Fort Worth Street Sharks. One is for real...the other, may have rough times ahead. *** Denver, Chicago, Fort Worth, and Cincinnati, they've all swapped off playing each other and its only week three!! Two of them have a shot at The Playoffs, the other two....be prepared to be ridiculed. ************** The Rankings!!! 1- Baltiwash Ravskins- (Until The Champs lose...they reign supreme) 2- Phoenix Pinyatas- (Be afraid, be very afraid) 3- OBX Favre Factors- (2-0 and over 700pts so far, but the injuries could slam the door shut FAST) 4- New Jersey Crew- (Healthy and in possession of a potent offense) 5- Georgia Snorting Pugs- (Could rumors of The Pugs demise be exaggerated?) 6- Fort Worth Street Sharks- (Off to a nice 2-0 start) 7- San Franciso 4&9ers- (Nice start but not sure they spelled their own name right...could be wrong though) 8- Chicago Criminals- (This could be a dangerous team) 9- Seattle Reign- (700+ points) 10- West Virginia Wolverines- (With the 3rd most points scored so far...wont be winless for long) 11- Charlotte Big Cats- (1-1 but needs wins fast to stay with OBX) 12- Denver Electricity- (The Rock looks very very shaky early on) 13- Carolina- (Not a great start) 14- BC Decepticons- (I thought JT was "BACK"?) 15- Cincinnati Bengals- (Luckily, this division could be weak...giving The Bengals a nice chance) 16- Atlantic City Gamblers- (Two losses and an illegal lineup.....needs to get back in the race fast)

The Ravskins may not give this up for a VERY long time
***9-30-11***
And then there were none. When we last checked in, we had a couple unbeaten teams remaining with Fort Worth, and OBX both at 3-0. Fast forward a bit though and we now have plenty of 4-1’s but no 5-0’ s. The crazy thing is, the untouchable Baltiwash Ravskins are NOT one of those 4-1 teams! But don’t worry, Phoenix is, so at least one of the “unbeatables” is still striking fear into our hearts. So now the questions…all over again….just who is the top team in this league? Lets take a closer look at those 4-1 teams to see if we can narrow it down. ***** Fort Worth started on fire and they sat at 4-0 before losing this week. So, are they the best? No. The trouble here is that some of their early wins may have been phantoms. Back then, Ben Tate was a “stud” while Foster sat. Now he is waiver material and the other RBs for Ft Worth (Grant/Tolbert) are nice, but they aren’t going to carry a team. Looking at the rest of Ft Worth’s roster and it’s not pretty. They have nice players, but the best in the league, this team is not. ***** So what about New Jersey? Nope, not them either. Don’t get us wrong, this is a Playoff team for sure but not a Title winner. Fitz is a nice QB but he just wont score enough in the long run to push this team to a Championship. The RBs here look amazing on paper but Bradshaw splits carries and Jackson could wear down over the long haul. Meanwhile Mendenhall….is a disaster so far. The WRs here are great and Calvin might be the best one in the league, but getting consistent big numbers from Ward. Garcon and Decker will be TOUGH. ***** What about Phoenix, everyone loves them to win a Title right?! Wrong. Yes, their WRs list is stellar with Dez, Steve Smith and Reggie Wayne but will Dez stay healthy? Will Steve? Can Wayne really be counted on?? McCoy and Turner are nice too, and this defense IS a title D but…but…Dalton at QB? NOT gonna happen. ***** OBX. 4-1. No Favre to weigh them down. STACKED with stars. Sorry no dice. If there was ever a sell high player in the history of sport, it was Mike Vick. Half the league would have given half their team to get him. OBX held fast and now they will PAY. Vick is playing well but he is also getting hurt and struggling with turnovers (and hes 31 yrs old). AP and Best are sweet RBs and this team even had Jamaal Charles with these two guys before he got hurt, too bad he did get hurt because that too is a big blow to the title hopes of the Favre Factors. The killer though is their WRs, Jhonny Knox is their best one….sorry OBX not even the He-Man Jermichael can save you from that reailty. ***** That leaves one other 4-1. West Virginia. So, are they the answer to the title question? Maybe. First off they have a stud QB in Ryan. Next off they are led at RB by the best one in the league, McFadden. Sure, Sproles is hit or miss but McFadden kinda makes up for that. Nicks and Julio Jones are two DAMN fine WRs and Greg Little will be getting better all year. Jimmy Graham is a top 5 TE now, and a top 2 by seasons end. They are loaded with guys getting better as time goes on. They also have a solid defense and a kicker who can hit a FG at any time, from any distance (just make sure hes a drunk as possible when kicking!). The other plus is the “found money” bonus. Almost every title winning team has that someone who performed well above their pre-season rating and this team is full of guys like this. Sean Wetherspoon is quickly becoming a top 15 LB. The aforementioned Julio is already making huge strides (one of which may cost him a game with a pulled hammy). Sproles has been one HELL of an X-Factor, and Jimmy Graham? Dude is amazing……but he sure wasn’t thought of as THIS good in the preseason. All of these guys are either 2nd year players or rookies and all are blowing up. Sometimes a team can win with just one of these surprise players but with 3? Or even 4? That’s sitting pretty. So is OBX our current pick? Well….yeah! Does anyone else have a list of players like OBX and also possesses some young talent far exceeding expectations?! Anyone? Anyone? ***** …..Who? Denver??? Oh yeah….. Denver. So far, Denver (and The Rock), has been quiet. But could Denver be a team that threatens for league dominance in the not-to-distant future? Well, they already have plenty of established stars. Roddy, Witten, Vernon and Big Ben. Denver also has a top defensive front. But do they possess any of those players quickly rising to the top? Well, Beanie Wells was a forgotten back when Denver got him. Now in 4 games he has topped 40 twice. Denver also grabbed fellow youngin LeGarrette Blount. He had a fast finish last year but was still only considered a top 20 RB. 5 games in and he has scored 20+ in all but one game and gone for more than 30 twice. Not stud numbers, but not too shabby either. So who’s the guy bringing Denver back into the conversation? Easy. Cam. Denver nabbed Newton in the preseason and so far….holy crap. Cam tallied only 42 pts in week 3. That’s been his low. His other totals? 51, 67, 69 and 71. That’s big time. Is it big enough to top West Virginia? Not yet. But if a few other pieces fall into place, Denver could be back in the title hunt sooner rather then later. Where does everyone else fall? Lets find out!! ***** The Rankings!!! [Last Update] [2] 1- West Virginia Wolverines (The best the league has to offer…..for now) [1] 2- OBX Favre Factors (Just a breath behind WV) [5] 3- Phoenix Pinyatas (Still there with the best) [4] 4- New Jersey Crew (Juuuuust a bit outside the top 3) [3] 5- Fort Worth Street Sharks (Need to recover fast) [6] 6- Baltiwash Ravskins (Are the Champs faltering?) [9] 7- Seattle Reign (Can they make the leap to the top 5?) [14] 8- Denver Electricity (Rumors of The Rock’s demise may have been over exaggerated……..maybe) [10] 9- San Francisco 4&9ers (Looks like they may need a name change cause they are winning more than 4 this year) [7] 10- Georgia Snorting Pugs (Just like we thought…The Pugs don’t have it in em) [8] 11- Chicago Criminals (Better than this) [16] 12- Atlantic City Gamblers (Whats going on here?? AC on the rise!) [11] 13- BC Decepticons (Quiet…so quiet…..) [12] 14- Charlotte Big Cats (Not looking good) [13] 15- Carolina (This team can score…but can they win?) [15] 16- Cinncinnati Bengals (Will they win a game this year?)

...but this guy would just...kinda...EAT Favres FACE!!.....
...maybe this guy? (he'd be the one Id want if winning a football game is what is needed)....
...or is it these guys? Damn they scary.....

***10-26-11***
With all due respect to Fort Worth….its time to eliminate the dead weight, namely the Central and Southern Divisions. I mean come on, if these teams were just dropped, then maybe we would have some real competition in this league! As it stands, we have a sad sad state of affairs. Take the South... ***** At the moment the teams in the South, OBX, Georgia, Carolina and Charlotte are on a streak of 18 combined losses in a ROW! The total record of this division is 7-21 and its not getting better anytime soon. OBX leads the way but they are grasping at straws at RB and are one Vick injury away from a 5 game losing streak. Charlotte has little at RB, less at WR and is HORRID at QB. The Pugs long for their glory days and are now just an afterthought with problems at every position and few rock solid strengths. And Carolina? Hell, if we looked at these four teams without seeing their records, it’d be EASY to name Carolina as the best! Romo? Pretty good. Ray Rice? As studly as it gets. Vincent Jackson, Boldin and Plax? Good list. How this is the worst team in the division is beyond me. In any case though…its time for contraction! Or Retraction!! Or really ANY kind of Action! (Lets get Collins back interested…that would be a nice first step!) ***** Almost equally mediocre is the Central. This division is a combined 11-17 (Compare this to the East at 21-7). Chicago won this week but the other teams here are on a combined 10 game losing streak. Fort Worth is our leader here at 5-2 and guess what….they SUCK! This team has NO offense. No…really..they literally don’t start anyone on offense. Or they may as well not. To many problems to list but suffice it to say New Jersey could beat this team with their QB and two WRs on Bye weeks…. maybe even a TE out too. Next up we have big talker Dan. Dan has an excuse for every problem but in the end, hes just a team that cant get it done. Don’t get me wrong, his offense is very nice but his D? He don’t need no D!!! Damn right…easy to finish under .500 with no D and that’s just what he’ll do. Next up is….our OTHER big talker, The Rock himself. The Rock has been in charge of this division for years but no more. Sure he has a great QB and some nice WRs. His D is also solid. But with RBs better suited for the CFL, it’ll be easy to challenge Dan for most mediocre team in this division. As for the Bengals…. mediocre would be like winning a title. Carolina is 0-7. So are the Bengals, but at least Carolina is trying!! The Bengals have done NOTHING all damn year!! Just a horrible example of a Chapel Hill team. ***** So you see, we really don’t need any of those teams anymore, just leave the other two divisions with actual talent and skill and watch the fireworks explode!! Oh, wait. Wait on second. Make that 1 and ¾ divisions. You see, of all the teams we listed here, one could trump them all when it comes to being in a very BAD place. B……C….Arkham, run by The Clown Prince himself, The Joker. Too bad his team seems to be the Joke. WRs? Well, we cant call any list with Jennings and Welker bad. QB? Hmm.. Brady…..yeah that’s ok. Ah, here we go, a defense worthy of Indy’s last Sunday VS New Orleans. And RBs? WHAT RBs!!!!! Yeah, we’ll take this team over Cincy but that ain’t saying much. The WORST part….we give it three or maybe four weeks till their only bright spot....their owner…fades to black yet again. *** If you have NOT been mentioned in the above paragraphs, congrats, you don’t absolutely suck! But for more than half the league to get the riot act read to them? Weak…just…weak. ***** The Rankings!!! [Last Update] [1] 1- West Virginia Wolverines (Still the best in the league..but its DAMn close) [3] 2- Phoenix Pinyatas (Can they pass up WV for the top spot?) [4] 3- New Jersey Crew (…Or will NJ claim the #1 spot soon?) [6] 4- Baltiwash Ravskins (Coming back despite major injuries) [7] 5- Seattle Reign (Top 5!) [12] 6- Atlantic City Gamblers (Big time surge) [9] 7- San Francisco 4&9ers (Gonne have to lose em all to go 4-9) THE REST OF YOU DON’T DESERVE A RANK!!! Anyone wanna argue???

Need I say more? ...Ok..I will...
***11-16-11***
We’ll just get right to it…..time for the Playoff Rankings!! Time to take each team that’s still in the hunt (sadly, this list will NOT be including names like San Fran (we were SURE theyd be better) or Georgia (its over)). But anyone else who has a shot….time to see where you finish!! ********** #1 Seed [8-2] Baltiwash Ravskins- Well, so much for Baltiwash struggling. Since starting 3-2 The Ravskins have gone 5-0 and now they sit primed and ready to be the first repeat champion in league history. With three games left its all roses for Baltiwash…until week 13 that is, the whole season could come down to that one. Remaining 3 Games: Reign- Win, Asylum- Win, Pinyatas-……Win Final Record- 11-2 ***** #2 Seed [8-2] Phoenix Pinyatas- If we don’t get our first repeat champion ever, we could easily have our first two time champ ever. Phoenix is rolling at 8-2 and they look as strong as anyone else coming in to the last few games. Losing Peyton could have killed them, luckily Dalton has kept this ship afloat. Remaining 3 Games: Gamblers- Win, Wolverines- Loss, Ravskins- Loss Final Record- 9-4 ***** #3 Seed [7-3] OBX Favre RULES!!!- What used to be Georgia division now belongs to Favre. This team has lost Best. They have lost Charles. They have even lost Vick to some degree. Only their strong bench has kept them in the fight. They will take this division with ease, but it could be a limp into the playoffs for OBX. Remaining 3 Games: Bengals- Win, Electricity- Win, Sharks- Loss Final Record- 9-4 ***** #4 Seed [6-4] Denver Electricity- The Rock just refuses to give up this division to upstart Fort Worth. Denver took down the Sharks last week to reclaim that division lead, but with the shakiest running game of any playoff hopeful, can they really hang onto it? Luckily, their remaining schedule isn’t the toughest we’ve ever seen. Still, this could end up a case of whoever finishes 2nd in the Central, misses the playoffs altogether. Remaining 3 Games: Cats- Win, OBX- Loss, Carolina- Win Final Record- 8-5 ***** #1 Wild Card [8-2] West Virginia Wolverines- Don’t go thinking that this 8-2 record is all fluff. The Wolverines are for real and they could end up taking down the mighty Baltiwash. McFadden being out hurts them but they own his backup who has been more than serviceable. With him back, this team could be the one to look to for a big run to finish the season. Remaining 3 Games: Asylum- Win, Pinyatas- Win, 4&9ers- Win Final Record- 11-2 ***** #2 Wild Card [7-3] New Jersey Crew- This record should be enough to have them comfortably in the playoffs. But it doesn’t. With at least two other teams within reach, The Crew needs to finish the year strong. Trouble is, injuries are mounting. Their starting QB is gone and Bradshaw still isn’t back. A strong D and great WRs should keep them in the hunt and their remaining schedule isn’t too bad. This will be close. Remaining 3 Games: 4&9ers- Win, Reign- Loss, Asylum- Win Final Record- 9-4 ***** 0 Games Back [7-3] Seattle Reign- The Ravskins. The Pinyatas. These are names that people associate with great records year after year, and title banners hanging in the rafters. The Reign. This is a name that many forget…..but they shouldn’t. You see, Seattle has taken their own title before and it wasn’t that long ago. Now, they sit at 7-3, just a game behind Phoenix and aside from being a loaded team, they are also virtually injury free. The only hurdle here is a rough remaining schedule. Remaining 3 Games: Ravskins- Loss, Crew- Win, Gamblers- Win Final Record- 9-4 ***** 1 Game Back [6-4] Fort Worth Street Sharks- This one is simple, whoever takes the Central crown, makes the playoffs. No one else in this division is going to make it. Denver has owned this division for years only missing the Central Division Title one season (and that was one where they lost Vick (jail) and Sean Taylor and Darrent Williams). Now though, it is a team pushing Denver to the brink not horrid luck. Fort Worth is strong but injuries have taken their toll. Still, one look at their remaining schedule tells a story that could end with the sharks taking this division. Remaining 3 Games: Pugs- Win, Cats- Win, OBX- Win Final Record- 9-4 ***** 2 Games Back [5-5] Chicago Criminals- Chicago is in barely in the race BUT they ARE still in it. They sit just a game behind both Denver and Fort Worth. Their RBs are a mess and the WRs here are questionable but the schedule the rest of the way is cake. So the question is, can this team make an improbable run for the playoffs and a division title? Remaining 3 Games: Carolina- Win, Pugs- Win, Cats- Win Final Record- 8-5 ********** Everyone else is so far back its not worth even a peek! And there we have it, the final records all determined as is the seeding! #1 Seed: The 11-2 Baltiwash Ravskins #2 Seed: The 9-4 Phoenix Pinyatas #3 Seed: The 9-4 OBX Favre Factors #4 Seed: The 9-4 Fort Worth Street Sharks #1 Wild Card: The 11-2 West Virginia Wolverines #2 Wild Card: The 9-4 Seattle Reign Well, that’s the guess anyway. These records are going to be DARN close so it could come down to just a few points difference between these teams. Should all go as we planned, the playoffs should go something like this. Wild Card Round Seattle defeats OBX West Virginia defeats Fort Worth Divisional Round Baltiwash defeats Seattle West Virginia defeats Phoenix Chapel Hill Title Game Baltiwash repeats as Champion defeating West Virginia
Way too many teams striving for way to few playoff spots...its gonna get ugly.....

***11-29-11***
Lets get to it. Before we delve into the Playoff possibilities its time to tip our caps to Tim Collins. Many already have but this will just be one more such case. Without Tim, Chapel Hill wouldn’t exist and many of us might still be stuck with Gerry *shudder*. Thanks to Tim, this and other copycat leagues have turned into some of the best fantasy leagues out there with many folks waiting for just a chance that there may be an opening. We’ll buy the need to do more work and chill with the family but I will personally thumb my nose at this “other” woman by the name of hoops dynasty…..come on, this is CHAPEL HILL!!! Way mo betta than any wanna be sports league! To see The Pugs precipitous fall from grace was a sight to see, and not a pretty one either but in the end, Collins and The Pugs were a dominant force for years. Now this beleaguered team turns to another once proud owner in Louie Escalante. Only time will tell if he can bring them back, or if they are doomed to toil in the bottom of the league wasteland. Bottom line…thanks for the league Tim! Luckily the league is left to a fantastic commish in Tim Cole so we should be in good hands long term and at least with Louie around, things wont get boring. The real question……which team will be better next year…Louies new team (The Pugs), or his old team (The Criminals)? Wait, one game left?!?! Oh who cares about these .500 teams (or worse), its time to talk Playoffs!! ***** #1 Seed [9-3] Baltiwash Ravskins- Baltiwash is still in control here thanks to their massive point total but should they lose, it could get dicey. Luckily, their stars are mostly healthy and Miles Austin could make them even stronger. The downside, this last game could be their toughest test yet and easily could preview the 2011 Chapel Hill Superbowl. Final Game: Phoenix- Win Final Record: 10-3 ***** #2 Seed [9-3] Phoenix Pinyatas- Wow, could this get any better?! Pinyatas VS Baltiwash in the final regular season game. Someone was sure praying to the schedule Gods on that one! Phoenix is playing well and could take this one…it’ll sure be close. Who would have thought come day one that Phoenix could challenge for the #1 seed with a guy named Dalton at QB! Final Game: Baltiwash- Loss Final Record: 9-4 ***** #3 Seed [8-4] Denver Electricity- Few teams have managed to take as many division title as Denver and this year looks to be no different. The Rock is up by a game on the Sharks but even if they tie, Denver owns a healthy lead in the PF category. The #3 seed is within reach……and all with cookie cutter RBs. Final Game: Carolina Final Record- 9-4 ***** #4 Seed [7-5] OBX Favre Factors- OUCH. NOT a good time for injuries. Now, this teams injury list reads like a whos who of studs. Vick, Peterson, Jamaal and Best are all out with two of those games done for good this year. OBX has lost the 3rd seed and reclaiming it may be impossible. Luckily the rest of their division is no challenge at all. OBX makes it in, but for how long? Final Game: Sharks- Loss Final Record: 7-6 ***** #1 Wild Card [9-3] West Virginia Wolverines- The Wolverines have had this spot for a long time and they will be in the playoffs for sure. Trouble is, they may slip down to the #2 wild card if they don’t win AND score well. But hey wait a second here……should Baltiwash drop the game to Phoenix, these Wolves could snatch that #1 seed away from both Baltiwash AND Phoenix! Final Game: 4&9ers- Win Final Record: 10-3 ***** #2 Wild Card [9-3] Seattle Reign- Oh what a tangled web we weave. This is yet another team that could end up leaping up in the race. #1 is not going to happen but if Seattle wins and Phoenix loses, that would put the Reign in line for a possible #2 seed. If all goes to hell though, Seattle will still get to keep playing but could fall all the way to the #2 Wild Card spot. Hell, looks like the biggest losers here are OBX and Denver. Come playoff time, the wild card teams could be quite a bit quperior to the #3 and #4 division winners! Final Game: Gamblers- Win Final Record: 10-3 ***** So, now lets go over the teams that are in the chase but need a little help to get in. Oh….theres no one LEFT in the race! The only two teams near the leaders are the Crew at 7-5 and The Sharks at 7-5. The Crew sits in a division with two 9-3 teams so they are out. As for the Sharks, if they nab a win and the Electricity take a loss they would both end at 8-5. Trouble is, Denver is up by over 200 total points scored (the first tie break) so it would mean that the Sharks would need to win, see Denver lose AND outscore The Rock by more than 200. Doubtful at best unless Denver fields an illegal lineup by mistake. So there it is then, the current playoff teams will be the final playoff teams. The seeding though could change dramatically. Based off those final records, let go ahead and guess who might finish where. #1 Seed: The 10-3 Baltiwash Ravskins #2 Seed: The 10-3 Seattle Reign #3 Seed: The 9-4 Denver Electricity #4 Seed: The 7-6 OBX Favre Factors #1 Wild Card: The 10-3 West Virginia Wolverines #2 Wild Card: The 9-4 Phoenix Pinyatas Which would lead to something…..like this….. Wild Card Round Phoenix defeats Denver West Virginia defeats OBX Divisional Round Baltiwash defeats Phoenix West Virginia defeats Seattle Chapel Hill Title Game Baltiwash repeats as Champion defeating West Virginia Hmm..so far, the early prediction look to hold true. Anyone gonna go nuts and change this outcome?!?! ...On a totally seperate an humerous note....when googling "Baltiwash" and clicking on images....3 of the first 40 images are directly related to these updates. A title belt, a bloodied Brahama Bull and a dead (or sleeping) Pug. Thats funny.
We know who is in...but ...where will they end up?

And Here…..We…Go! The Playoffs are Finally here and we’re here to break down every game and every position. By the end of this update we will know EXACTLY what is going to happen…..more or less. *********************** #4 Seed [8-4] OBX Oh Favre Help me NOWs! VS #1 Wild Card [10-3] West Virginia Wolverines So, OBX is the higher seed here…right? Not so much it seems. West Virginia has risen FAST and if its up to then there will be no 2-Time-Champ when its all said and done this year. These guys tangled once this year way back in week 4 and it wasn’t pretty. West Virginia crushed ol Favre 434-345. Could the result be any different this time? The Breakdown QB- Well this is an interesting comparison. On one hand we have Matt Ryan who seems to just get better as the year goes on. On the other we have Vick, a fragile QB on a train wreck of a team. Still, its Vick, and he’s angry. Just too close to call Winner- Tie RB- Oh Holy Moses!! How can you be THIS loaded at RB and have literally nothing to play for the playoffs?! OBX owns Jamaal….hurt. Best….done. And AP….hurt. OBX will trot Don Brown and Roy Helu out there. Missing McFadden on the WV side won’t matter. Winner- Wolverines WR/TE- Um. OBX has Jermichael. Sickness. The rest of these guys are trash. On the other side we have Graham…he mo betta than Jermichael. Then we have Nicks and maybe even Julio. Another easy call. Winner- Wolverines Defense- Both teams have a decent defense but OBXs is sure banged up. Healthy we take OBX but hurt? Hmmm. Not so sure. Winner- Tie Summary- West Virginia won game one between these two teams, West Virginia will take game two as well. Our bet, its not even gonna be close. Our Pick- The West Virginia Wolverines: 433-340 ************************ #3 Seed [9-4] Denver Electricity VS #2 Wild Card [9-4] Phoenix Pinyatas Can we PLEASE get a game where the higher seed really matters?! This one is closer to be sure but Phoenix would end up getting the spot were it between these two teams for that last Wild Card place. But that would be based off of previous performance this year and as it stands now, this one may be closer than we think for one, simple reason. The Breakdown QB- Will Phoenix go with Matt Moore or Andy Dalton? Doesn’t matter, Denver has Cam. Winner- Electricity RB- Phoenix is dealing with an injury to one of their top guys in Turner so it will be McCoy and Greene getting that starts and Shonn has been playing very very nice of late. For Denver it will be…who knows. Blount, Stewart, Wells….. Any one of em could blow up or bomb totally on any given week. Winner- Phoenix WR/TE- This is NOT like our first game breakdown…and WR graveyard. No, here, we have stars. Dez, Steve Smith and Reggie Wayne on one side, DeSean, Vincent, Roddy, Witten and Vernon on the other. Trouble is, Steve Smith is slowing a little and Reggie has a guy with about half the talent of Andrew Luck throwing to him. Yeah, DeSean is a mess, but that’s still the side that wins. Winner- Electricity Defense- Remember back when we mentioned one simple reason why this one may not be Phoenix’s game to lose? Yeah, its right here. Patrick Willis. Dude puts up numbers like a top fantasy WR. Dude is the top option on ANY defense. And dude is hurt and out for this week. This is still a great D and one that can hang with Denvers powerful list of LBs but without Willis, the Pinyatas are in trouble Winner- Tie Summary- This should be a good game. Phoenix is banged up but they only have one or two major players out. Still in the end, Cam could put this game away fast. Even if he doesn’t, the loss of Willis will be felt and it could mean the end of Phoenix’s great season. Our Pick- The Denver Electricity: 390-376
Baltiwash and Seattle wait to see who can muster the strength to face them in Round 2

Never before has a team fought so hard, scratching and clawing, in one of the closest finishes of ALL TIME…..just for the right to get CRUSHED. Last week in the Semi Finals, the Seattle Reign defeated the Wolverines 403-403. Yes folks, the game was a tie! But by virtue of the tie breaker the Reign will move on to the Chapel Hill Title game and by doing so will ensure that we have our first 2-Time Champion, ever! The Reign have their 2008 Title banner hanging in the rafters while the Ravskins are our current (and soon to be, still) World Champion. What? Whats that? The game hasn’t even been played yet? The Reign have a great shot to win it all? Oh. Well. Sorry for ruining the whole thing then. The unfortunate truth though, is the fact that the last good game of the the year……was last week. The truth of it is that Baltiwash will be champion, plain and simple. How can we say this before kickoff?...... *********************** The Seattle Reign VS The World Champion Baltiwash Ravskins The Breakdown QB- Romo is a very good QB and will score well for Seattle. Brees is one of the greatest QBs of ALLL Time and will crush Romo. Winner- Ravskins RB- The Ravskins come in with Foster and Jackson. A top 3 RB and one playing as if he could be. The Reign will have Marshawn and Benson. Now Marshawn has indeed been going nuts the last couple months but can he keep it up? As for Benson, he's a 1000 yard guy but we'll take any of the other 3 RBs over him. Winner- Ravskins WR/TE- Miles and Miles of Austin, Harvin, Gates, Lance Moore.....once again Seattle is demolis..... Well, wait one second here. Fitz, Marshall, Stevie and Jordy? Looks like there is one area where Baltiwash wont be running away with the game. Winner- Tie Defense- Decent defense for Seattle, but these Baltiwash LBs and DBs...are just plain better. Winner- Ravskins Summary- We're really hoping for a good game, but that wish just isn;t going to come true. Crown em again....... Our Pick- The Baltiwash Ravskins- 431-400 ************************
