Just like the rest of our All-Star content, we play things a
little differently here.  Vegas is nice, but for an Inagural
game, New York City is nicer.  And we also decided to
change things up and have two NBA teams get the chance
to showcase there jersey's in the game.  Should the
All-Star festivities return next season, the owners will vote
on what jersey's we'll use.  This time though, we have the
First Team All-Stars in  Knicks Blue and the 2nd Teamers
in Lakers Purple and Gold.
Now we could bore you with an entire game breakdown,
but thats not what the All-Star game is about, its about
highlights!  But it would take a few minutes for the All-Stars
to realize that.  For over four minutes we had a game of a
couple jumpshots and.....oh no...DEFENSE?!?!  But don't
worry, there were plenty of high flying moves.
The first Insanity All-Star Game, from Madison Square Garden!!
1st Team Starting Lineup

7:40 left in the 1st- Our first flight involved, of course, LBJ.
But he wouldn't be dunking on someone, no, he'd be getting
dunked on by Andre Igudala. But still the early lead was to the
1st Teamers 10-6
No, thats not Kobe, that would be Andre Igudala shoving LBJames aside.
The first Insanity All-Star Game, from Madison Square Garden!!

:25 left in the 1st- A beautiful cross-court pass from D
Wade to Baron Davis got the crowd on their feet but
Davis's long two would be sent back by Kevin Garnett.  A
heave at the buzzer went wide as the first quarter came to
a close.  The first teamers dominated early but the 2nd
Team All-Stars would not fade away.  Your score at the
end of the first:

1st Team- 28

2:17 left in the 2nd- KG shows the dunking skills,
and KG hits the J....WITH the shot clock running down.
9:23 left in the 2nd- The second quarter started a bit
slow as well so Wade thought he'd wake up the crowd with
a three from WAY outside......and it was quite a brick
indeed!
9:23 Left in 2nd
Wade has range, but not from THAT far back!
1st Team 30, 2nd Team 28
7:50 left in the 2nd- Marcus Camby makes his presence
known midway through the quarter.
7:01 left in the 3rd- Now it was Kobes turn to catch fire as
he drains a three...then another...then ANOTHER!!!
4:17 left in the 2nd- If Wade can shoot from 70 yards
away, why can't VC?
7:50 left in the 2nd- So, it was all fun and games......untill
Kevin Garnett decided to take OVER.  12 points, 5
rebounds and 2 assists...in just this quarter!
3:50 left in the 2nd- After taking the lead for a brief
moment, Caron Butler THROWS DOWN to put the 1st

End of the 2nd Quarter- With KG's help, the 1st Team

NINE POINTS STRAIGHT FOR KOBE!!!!!
1st Team 66, 2nd Team 51
:54 left in the 3rd- It got bad fast for the 2nd Team All-Stars
in the 3rd, all the while, Kobe and Nash kept the 1st Team
ahead while KG dominated on both ends.

The quarter would end with LBJ finally slamming one home
and the door slamming on the chances of the 2nd Team.
Your 3rd quarter score:

1st Team- 83
2nd Team - 68
11:05 left in the 4th- The game was getting out of hand but
Vince Carter refused to let up.
5:04 left in the 3rd- LeBron just couldn't get it going.
He'd finish just 3-8 including this blown dunk.
Despite VC's best efforts, The 1st Team All-Stars just ran
away with this one.  Your final score:

1st Team- 109
2nd Team - 86

The box Scores are posted below.  For the 1st Team,
Jason Kidd was a DNP due to injury.  Dwight Howard was
also a DNP, but we had no idea why untill we found
him..and asked.

ISPN- "Dwight, why didnt you play even a single minute in
the All-Star Game?!"

Howard- "With the rim at 10 feet, it would have been just
too easy.  I say 12 feet!!"

Other DNP's for the 1st Team included Okafor, Boozer,
and Deron Williams.  We apologize to the owners who's
players didn't get into the game.  Don't worry, if we're back
next year, we'll ensure the coaching staff gets EVERYONE
the PT they deserve!

As for the 2nd Team, their DNPs included T.J. Ford,
Biedrins, David Lee and Luol Deng.  Again, we'll ensure all
play next season.....though.....Lee and Biedrins were oddly
absent from the bench.....and our reporters did see both
men at a local night club the night before...with one
Dwayne The Rock Johnson........we have of course put out
and APB at this point to attempt to locate the players.
Again, we will make every effort to ensure all players
chosen actually play in the game come next year.

And with 20 points, 13 rebounds, 5 assists, 4 steals and a
block, Kevin Garnett is your MVP.

It was a great game and the stars shined all night....and all
weekend.  We think Insanity Basketball is a special league
that deserved some special All-Star coverage.....but as
one man might say, IT DOENST MATTER WHAT WE
THINK.....its about what you think!  So drop us a line and
let us know your opinions, and hit up the poll on the main
league page!  Thanks for stopping by to check out our
coverage, we hope to be back next year.  Now, stay tuned
for our Weekly Update AND an exclusive interview with
Annapolis owner Sean Edward!
